Only 413 of the 980 foster children in the Coastal Bend area had a CASA volunteer to help them be placed in the most secure, nurturing home possible. Your donations help ensure more foster children can have a CASA volunteer to stand by them in their time of great need. CASA of the Coastal Bend wants every child in foster care to have a CASA they can rely on and trust. In order to accomplish this goal, we need to train and retain and additional 200 to 250 volunteers at a cost of $2,293 per volunteer per year.
