Programs in the Texas CASA Network continue to make progress toward the vision of having a CASA volunteer for every child in the Texas foster care system.

In the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2012, which began September 1, 2011, 54 of the 69 CASA programs were serving 70 percent or more of their children with CASA volunteers.

This is real progress toward quality advocacy for children in foster care. Congratulations!
